What you think of Yoga-fun classes
For Avril Owner / Director of Mitchy Titch
Kerri-anne – I have been taking my “special” baby Charlotte to yoga for a few months now. We love the class (even when Charlotte sleeps through it!!) Avril can not do enough to accommodate charlottes special needs and requirements and has worked with her physio to ensure she is getting the best from the class. Can’t thank u enough Avril for the extra mile u go for Charlotte and the support u have given me. We will still be coming to your class for as long as you will have us and will continue to recommend you to everyone who will listen as will charlottes physio!! Xxxxxx
Sara – Absolutely AMAZING first yoga session. Laila (9weeks) loved it! All smiles and giggles and tired out at the end (and that was just me!) thanks Avril!
Chloe -Cheeky chimps is absolutely brilliant. Both me and my daughter love attending these sessions. Avril is fantastic with the children, Ruby absolutely adores her. Thanks Avril xxx
Louise -I’ve been attending yoga with my daughter for over a year and it is wonderful. There’s lots of fun activities for her physical social and emotional development and gentle exercises for parents too. And most importantly Avril is wonderful with every adult and baby that steps through the door x
Holly – 5 star! can’t express enough how much me and my daughter Amélie love our Cheeky Chimp sessions with Avril. The classes are stimulating, educational, and above all, fun for both of us. Avril is very understanding of each child’s personality and needs; Amélie is extremely shy & reserved but is always included and encouraged to join in. Avril introduces a wide range of exercises and activities for the babies/toddlers and is able to cater for every age.
Wednesday afternoons simply would not be the same without Cheeky Chimps and I would highly recommend these classes.
Fab, fab, fab. Thank you Avril for accommodating Amélie and I, and keep up the good work.
For Michele – Founder of Mitchy Titch
I started going to the baby yoga classes run by Michele on the recommendation of a friend and my health visitor, so I knew the classes had a good reputation before I went. I really enjoy going – the classes are tailored for specific age groups and the groups aren’t large so you get to know everyone quite quickly. The yoga exercises are easy to learn and fun for the babies, and there are stretches and exercises for parents too. No two classes are the same and you don’t do the same exercises week in, week out.
Michele really makes the classes for me – she’s always smiling, outgoing and easily approachable and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Michele is clearly knowledgeable and always explains which exercises we’re doing and what benefits the exercises have. Michele will always look out for anyone who is struggling and will cheerfully repeat her instructions so everyone is included, and she’s very hands-on too so if anyone seems unsure about an exercise she will show them how it’s done, either with their own baby or with ‘Bendy Billy’. Michele isn’t a teacher who just gives instructions and lets the attendees do the work, she is more than happy to pick up a baby and work with them and the parent, and for me that’s a sign of an excellent teacher who knows what she’s talking about because she’s confident enough to put it into practice herself. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michele to anyone!
Michele Burton (c/o Mitchy Titch Ltd) has been delivering Baby Yoga for the Codsall and Wolgarston C&LP since April 2009. She has been delivering Baby Yoga across 6 Children Centres in Codsall and Wolgarston. Michele’s sessions are very popular and is reflected in the fact that she has been commissioned to continue with us. Michele is very professional and is very approachable. The sessions have been popular with the parents and this is reflected in the fact that parents have come back to her sessions. Feedback from parents has shown how the babies and parents have felt very relaxed after and this has an impact on a wide variety of things both for parent and child. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mitchy Titich and am looking forward to continuing this partnership.

Isaac really likes the interactive exercises and I think it has helped his flexibility. He pays attention and smiles a lot. The mum’s exercises are well integrated too. Thanks very much, we are sad to go back to work.

Sadie and I have really enjoyed baby yoga. Sadie was only 13 weeks old when we started baby yoga. Sadie is always smiling and happy with Michele. Michele has really helped to keep her moving on different postures of yoga. It is a great technique to bond with the baby as Michele is a great teacher. It is a great time to interact with other babies and helps moms to meet other mums. We recommend highly of baby yoga. Thanks very much Michele!

We have been doing yoga since Alan was 12 weeks old he is now 17 months. We absolutely love yoga. Michele is a natural teacher and makes it fun for both mothers and babies/toddlers. Its a great way to get mommy’s shape back without being high impact. It’s interactive and help’s develop babies motor skills. We highly recommend trying yoga. You will love it.

Sam has thoroughly enjoyed toddler yoga. He has developed lots of skills – including confidence and moving into different poses. Sam really enjoyed the music and dancing involved in the classes.
Michele is a fantastic and inspirational yoga teacher – thank you!

We both loved each class with Michele. The exercises are fun and beneficial to both Thomas and I. Michele varies the choice of music with nursery and pop songs, but always includes a few favourites which the babies (and mommy’s) thoroughly enjoy. I would highly recommend baby yoga as I have witnessed Thomas’s motor development week by week.

Michele has been coming to St Matthews Nursery to conduct yoga sessions within our baby rooms since April 2009. Right from tiny babies to 2 year olds the response from the children is unbelievable. It is amazing to see how well the children adapt and respond to learning new skills in such a short space of time. Even after just one session the children anticipate the next move. Yoga benefits the children’s flexibility, strength and co-ordination. Michele has a very friendly and positive approach to teaching the yoga and obviously has a wide knowledge base within the field she teaches.
